Fruit Of The Spirit - Self-control

An out of control car is not one you want to be in. Neither is an out of control life.

 

I can self-control my thoughts, actions, attitudes, words, and reactions.

 

Quit blaming others or anything else and take self control because it's a divine quality right there in your own spirit.

Fruit Of The Spirit - Gentleness

With the beautiful Godly perspective of humility and meekness, I can be gentle and healing in the daily joy of human interaction.

Fruit Of The Spirit-Faithfulness

Let's consider faithfulness.

Just do some gymnastics with the word to say full of faith. So persuaded about something that I stick to it.

Someone that is so sure of the health benefits of daily exercise that they just keep doing it.

Fruit Of The Spirit - Goodness

Goodness is the one for today. The greek text uses this word exclusively in scripture.

 

It means to be virtue equipped at any point.

 

Let me clarify. We have within us the virtues to meet any challenge or circumstance and be true to the divine nature in us.

Fruit Of The Spirit- Kindness

Be kind, and sense the radiance from within.

 

Let kindness shine with words of kindness, acts of kindness and an attitude of kindness.

 

We are all blessed in a more gentle and considerate world.

Fruit Of The Spirit -Longsuffering

Not a word we use a lot in modernity, but it really means patience, and especially patience when things aren't going so well.

 

It is this godly attribute that keeps us from making bad decisions when the going gets tough.

 

Long suffering lets us enjoy great relationships because we don't just bail out over difficulties.

Fruit Of The Spirit - Peace

Oh, how awesome that I don't have to consult any external measurement for affirmation of peace, but I can just look within and find the infinite supply of peace.

 

No longer the illusive dream, but a present reality that serves as a tranquil oasis in all of my life.
